Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach students personal hygiene,behaviors that need to be consider about elderly care ,methods of using medication when necessary , wound care and nutritional needs of the elderly,.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • describe the basic rules of elderly care
  • practice basic skills in elderly care under supervision
  • describe the needs and problems of elderly care
  • Knows the importance of health care team members and team work.
  • Knows the concepts related to aging and old age.
Course Description Elderly care principles and practices I is a description of the basic concepts of elderly care and how self-care needs of the elderly person can be met.
